Yes, chrysanthemums can be grown in containers, which is an excellent option for those with limited space or poor soil. Choose a container that is at least 12 inches wide and deep, with drainage holes in the bottom. Fill the container with a well-draining potting mix and fertilise regularly. Container-grown chrysanthemums may require more frequent watering than those grown in the ground, as the soil in containers can dry out more quickly. It's important to choose a location that receives at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day and to rotate the container regularly to ensure even growth.
