Hell for leather(jackets)

One of the worst pests for your lawn are leatherjackets, larvae of the crane fly or daddy-longlegs. They eat the grass roots (causing yellow and dead patches) and attract birds, foxes and badgers, which rip up your lawn to eat them. The adults are still flying and laying eggs in the soill. During the autumn, the grubs develop and start feeding on your lawn. Acting now can prevent your lawn being spoiled. Watering on a solution of Leatherjacket Killer, which kills the young leatherjacket grubs feeding under your lawn.
