School Gardening Update

With only slightly over a week to go until the start of the 2016 Chelsea Flower Show, the clock is ticking and the pressure is on to get everything ready.

St. Michael's School

Garden Club Members of St, Michael's School, Galleywood, Essex with plants they are growing for the Rising Stars, young peoples exhibit at the Chelsea Flower Show. They have the first ripe strawberry, are cutting sweet pea flowers, have small cucumbers forming, the lily is in bud, lettuce filling the pot and new garden pea in purple flower and the first yellow pods forming.

Holtspur School

Holtspur School, Beaconsfield also have a good stand of Lilium all nicely in bud. We are still some way from colour showing and hope a schools somewhere has more advanced plants. Please send in pictures to contact@sungardening.co.uk show how the free bulbs from Thompson & Morgan are developing.
